About the Position:
You will work alongside the other cutting team members as an assistant on the table or as the operator, responsible for setting up the most efficient cuts using a 2D program with X and Y axis.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision.
We are looking for someone willing and able to work overtime when our demand requires it.
Responsibilities:
Operation and light programming of the CNC Cutting System (similar to laser/plasma cutter) Measuring, inspecting, and cutting raw fabrics and films to precise customer requirements Maintaining cutting equipment Packing finished products into shipping tubes Folding material to given measurements Unloading, organizing, and storing material Preparing bulk freight shipments Maintaining a clean and organized work area Other duties as assigned Skills &
Qualifications:
Manufacturing/warehouse experience is preferred CNC operating experience is preferred Experience programming CNC cuts, nesting parts, maximizing material use, etc.
is a plus Must be comfortable using a computer Must be able to read a tape measure Must be able to stand, walk for 8-10 hours Able to lift 50 pounds periodically and 100 pounds occasionally Proficient in basic math Attention to detail is a must Other Information:
