About the position:
The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator will perform sewing-related tasks using high-end industrial sewing machines.
This person will be sewing/finishing various materials of varying sizes.
The ideal candidate is an open-minded individual who is willing to accept new challenges and learn new techniques.
We are looking for someone who is willing to work overtime when our demand requires it.
Responsibilities:
Finish/sew various materials using an industrial sewing machine.
Seam materials together, hemming or attaching binding to edges, etc.
Sew velcro or other accessories to products.
Use various attachments to meet desired finishes.
Troubleshoot sewing machine issues as they arise.
Skills and knowledge:
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 8-10 hours.
Be able to withstand repetitive movements during a shift.
Be able to read and understand work order requirements.
Willing to work overtime when needed.
Must be responsible, reliable, and self-motivated.
Must be able to work in a team or individually.
Must achieve and maintain quality and production standards.
Must actively participate and support any improvement activities.
Sewing experience is required, industrial sewing is preferred.
Be a pleasant and professional communicator.
