About the position:
In the Shipping Associate position, you will pick, pack, and ship orders in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily requirements for orders shipped and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
In this role, you will need to be detail-oriented, organized, and attentive.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
We are looking for someone who is willing to work overtime when our demand requires it.
Responsibilities:
Picks, packs, and ships daily orders via UPS, FedEx, USPS Verifies correct product and quantities are being shipped Follows proper packaging procedures Ships packages through our shipping software Determines the correct carrier to use Prepares freight shipments Schedules freight pick-ups Moving bulk materials by hand, with a pallet jack, and/or forklift Stocks shipping supplies daily Folds and packages screen material to specific dimensions Maintains a clean and organized area Other miscellaneous duties as assigned Required skills and knowledge:
Comfortable using a computer Basic reading, writing, and math skills Able to read a tape measure Able to lift 60
pounds multiple times daily Clearly communicate with team members and leadership Operate a manual pallet jack Work at a fast pace when required, multitasking when needed Maintain accuracy and attention to detail Willing to work overtime when needed Maintain a positive attitude Able to remain flexible to changing work environments Preferred skills and knowledge:
