About the position:
The shipping associate will pick, pack and ship orders in a fast paced environment while meeting daily shipping goals and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
This role is specific to small parcel shipping, using UPS and FedEx Ground/Express.
This is not your standard shipping role, this role requires the individual to accurately decipher complex SKUs, product names and descriptions, as well as packing lists and and order checklists.
This role requires impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to adapt as our SKUs and products are ever evolving.
This position is full-time with a schedule of 8:
30am-4:
30pm.
We are looking for someone who is willing to work overtime when our demand requires it.
Anyone does who not complete the Attention to Detail assessment will not be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
Picks manufactured and stocked products from the shelves; matching customer name, order number, SKUs and product names Verifies picked product(s) and quantities to what is detailed on the customers order Follows proper packaging procedures Determines the correct carrier to use and reads any special notes Ships packages through our shipping software (Shipworks) Stocks shipping supplies daily Maintains a clean and organized area Other miscellaneous duties as assigned Required skills and knowledge:
Highly Proficient with attention to detail Must be comfortable using a computer Possess basic reading, writing and math skills Must be able to lift 60 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for your entire shift Able to resolve minor problems, recognize normal and unusual situations Able to operate a manual pallet jack Able to work at a fast pace when required, multitasking when needed Maintains a positive attitude and can remain flexible to changing work environments Preferred skills and knowledge:
